Continue ReadingHappy to announce Prep Redzone Pennsylvania’s first-ever 1st & 2nd All-Camp teams! In this piece, we will be releasing our 1st & 2nd team selections amongst offensive players. A ton of talent was on display, making these selections very very tough. Enough players balled out to make a potential 3rd-Team.
We again would like to thank everyone who competed! This list is a combined evaluation from myself and the coaches involved, while also incorporating testing scores.
Quarterbacks
1st – Kerry Burns Jr.
1st – Carter Speyerer Carter Speyerer 6'0" | 190 lbs | QB Daniel Boone | 2022 State PA
These two kept their head down, received all of the coaching, and went to work. No games. Burns is a player I’m excited to watch from here on out. I made my rounds from coach to coach at the event, asking for their standouts at the QB position, Burns was the most frequent response. His film is riddled with tight-window throws and excellent footwork.
Happy to see Carter pass the way he did, seamless, like he’s been there before. That’s because he has. It’s hard to recruit PA QB’s and not find Carter somewhere in your research. His work ethic stands tall.
2nd – Trenton Carter Trenton Carter 6'2" | 185 lbs | QB Carmichaels | 2022 State PA
2nd – Anthony Torres Jr.
Really tough to figure out who would make this second team. I couldn’t go wrong, so many kids stood out. A big deciding factor to add Torres Jr. was how well he tested across the board. He, like Speyerer is a relentless worker.
Running Backs
1st – Andre Reames
1st – Jayden Johnson Jayden Johnson 5'6" | 160 lbs | RB Gettysburg | 2023 State PA
2nd – Ethan Shine Ethan Shine 5'10" | 215 lbs | RB Central Bucks East | 2023 State PA
2nd – Roger Romany Walker Roger Romany Walker 5'7" | 170 lbs | RB Hanover Nighthawks | 2022 PA Jr.
Roger Romany Walker Roger Romany Walker 5'7" | 170 lbs | RB Hanover Nighthawks | 2022 PA , although he wasn’t named as a “Top Performer” certainly showed he should have. The kid tested well, went through individuals just as good as anyone else, and gave maximum effort every time my eyes were on him. He’s a senior deserving of much more attention. 4.15 GPA. How this kid fell through the cracks is beyond me. He’s got my focus.
Wide Receivers
1st – DaQuan McCraw
1st – Jareel Calhoun Jareel Calhoun 5'11" | 160 lbs | ATH Allentown Central Catholic | 2025 NJ
1st – Durrell Ceasar Durrell Ceasar 6'1" | 180 lbs | WR Steelton-Highspire | 2024 State PA
1st – Caleb Newsome Caleb Newsome 5'11" | 165 lbs | ATH Nazareth | 2025 State PA
2nd – Zion Allen Zion Allen 5'10" | 180 lbs | ATH Central Dauphin | 2022 State PA
2nd – Jason Lindsay
2nd – Alijah Turner Alijah Turner 5'11" | 160 lbs | WR St. Joseph's Prep | 2025 State PA
Zion Allen Zion Allen 5'10" | 180 lbs | ATH Central Dauphin | 2022 State PA ’s testing numbers were, let’s just say, impressive. Won’t announce that yet but I’ve been following the kid for some time and am happy to see him come out and perform to the best of his abilities.
Figuring out the last two wideouts was a tough one. Leaving out Jah Jah Boyd and Samuel Smalls hurt. Lindsay and Alijah Turner Alijah Turner 5'11" | 160 lbs | WR St. Joseph's Prep | 2025 State PA were winning reps consistently as well as testing above their peers.
Offensive Lineman
1st – Declan Aikens Declan Aikens 6'2" | 250 lbs | OL Danville | 2023 State PA
1st – Justin Kutcher Justin Kutcher 6'1" | 265 lbs | OL Danville | 2024 State PA
1st – Soren Stoltzfus Soren Stoltzfus 6'2" | 285 lbs | OL Conestoga Valley | 2024 State PA
2nd – Jason Baldwin
2nd – Lukas Donahue Lukas Donahue 6'3" | 300 lbs | OL La Salle College | 2024 State PA
2nd – Jawaad Hanton
Fully believe after digesting more clips from the event, that Jawaad Hanton could have easily been a top performer as well. He is in my book. Tough as nails & incredible lower body strength to absorb blows high.
