He has a 68-inch wingspan and recorded a 4.71 and a 4.77 40-yrd time. He is a twitchy prospect with an obvious burst into the route and instant release from the LOS with a low pad level. He displayed a skill set that included one-step cuts, outstanding catching ability, and the ability to separate himself from defenders with his speed. is a prospect I need to get my eyes on. An import formerly of Pennsylvania’s Allentown Central Catholic, Calhoun will now be a part of the upstart Plainfield Cardinals. Shortly after heading to Jersey, Calhoun picked up his third Division I offer, this one from Marshall University. Certainly more to come on this highly regarding prospect.

had one of the more impressive 40 times when he ran a 4.61 which is an excellent time and he ran a 4.59 in the shuttle. The best part is that Calhoun backs up his speed and quickness with the way he plays. Calhoun catches the ball well, especially in one-on-ones. Calhoun is an excellent player and flashed some serious skills at the showcase.

. Stud on the track, his speed translates to the turf. The former PRZ camp standout boasts a 4.6 40-yard time, standing at 5’11 and weighing just under 160 pounds. Towsen might beat out Calhoun in terms of scores, yet the ACC junior reeled in 88 receptions for 775+ yards last Fall, both whopping numbers at this level. Ranks as the twelfth-best wideout in his class, yet Calhoun received real Top-8 consideration. He’s certainly worthy of that praise, as well as being inside the top 125. If you’re not actively attempting to thwart Calhoun at the LOS, either by pressing or being physical throughout the route, this kid will blow by you. He proves it on tape time and time again. Excels when stemming, understands how to utilize leverage to his advantage, expect Calhoun to force out hand in November and rerank him inside the top ten where he belongs.

Calhoun was the Vikings’ top play maker offensively this season with 88 receptions for 772 yards and four touchdowns. He shows quality size, speed, and agility while being able to impact the game in a variety of manners whether it’s on offense or special teams. Has reported 4.6 speed which matches up with the tape and is a good route runner with the ability to get consistent separation.
