Coming into the season, Cypress Creek’s Brad Jackson Brad Jackson 6'0" | 185 lbs | QB San Antonio Reagan | 2024 State TX had a lot of eyes on him and he delivered all season long. Trey Owens Trey Owens 6'4" | 200 lbs | QB Cy Fair | 2024 State TX not only has the prototypical size you want in a pro-style quarterback, but he has the arm to go with his 6’4 frame. Owens can put the ball 50 yards down the field while facing pressure and still put it on the money. You can see his accuracy improved throughout the 2021 season and his 70% completion rate reflects that. Owens takes advantage of offset defenses in the play-action game and attacks the holes in the defense. In the pocket, Owens can move around well and is very tough also. Ownes is not afraid to stick in the pocket and take a hit while still delivering an accurate ball. His 1,739 yards and 18 TD earned second-team all-district and his stock will continue to rise at Cy-Fair. Owens is flying under the radar and currently holds no offers.

Nash Rankin | 5’10 160lbs | Junior | Stratford
Securing first-team all-district was no easy matter this season. Nash Rankin was able to achieve the honor with his 2,749 yards and 26 TD while leading his Spartans to a playoff appearance. Rankin can absolutely sling the football. What has been very impressive has been his touch on the intermediate and deep ball. He throws with anticipation, appropriate touch, and his receivers never have to break stride. His ball placement is pinpoint. Whether he’s throwing a high-point ball to the back corner of the end zone or if he’s throwing a slant upfield to protect his receiver, the ball goes to only where the receiver can get it.

Adam Tran Adam Tran 5'8" | 160 lbs | QB Jersey Village | 2024 TX | 5’9 170lbs | Sophomore | Jersey Village
The undersized gunslinger had surpassed the district’s expectations leading his team an undefeated 11-0 regular season. Tran has a quick release and an ability to throw on and off-platform. Tran moves through his progressions well while still ready to fire it at any moment. He can throw a good deep ball from the pocket and can also push the ball while rolling out. His baseball background helps him with the off-platform or cross-body throws he makes. He is a decent athlete and can offer some value in the option game. There are still some things Tran needs to work on moving into his junior season. He still was able to win 11 games, so if he cleans the turnovers up some then he can be more efficient and effective and this Falcons offense could ascend to new heights.
