Brayden Clark – Constantine – RB – 5’10” 180 lbs
Clark finally got to make his return from injury and he did nothing but impress. He came out with a little rust but then he got going early and looked comfortable. He was making guys miss and running them over all game. He finished the night with 120 rushing yards and 4 TDs. It was a great welcome back performance for Clark and hopefully, he can keep these performances coming.
Cole Dean – Parchment – QB – 5’9″ 155 lbs
It was really nice of Dean to put on a free public clinic for everyone in attendance on Friday. He only got to play the 1st half because they put up 42 points in the first half. He had 260 total yards and 5 total TDs. 3 were in the air and 2 were on the ground. Every time they touched the ball they scored a TD. Dean was on fire and couldn’t be stopped.
Chris Dupree – Mendon – QB – 5’10” 170 lbs
Mendon wasn’t able to get the passing game going for most of the night so Dupree decided to do his best Lamar Jackson performance. He carried the ball 27 times and put up 142 rushing yards and 2 TDs. The defense couldn’t stop Dupree on the ground and he made them pay all night long. He’s quick and swift with his cuts. He knows where to go and he gets there in a hurry.
Andrew Finley – Hackett – RB/CB – 5’7″ 160 lbs
Finley was fantastic on Friday. He was cutting on a dime and is extremely shifty in the hole. They try to get him the ball in every way imaginable. He finished the night with 112 rushing yards, 3 Tds, and he helped lead them to a win. He also added a 65-yard reception where he broke 7 tackles on the play.
JR Hildebrand – Martin – QB – 5’10” 180 lbs
In the most anticipated game of the week, Hildebrand delivered. He was able to carry the team on his back and get them the win. He finished the day with just over 300 scrimmage yards. He had 171-yards of those on the ground and 3 TDs. He added another passing TD as well. It was a 60-yard strike to Ribble and it put them over the top on the week. Martin won 28-20.
