Another top team in Michigan is West Bloomfield. They have one of the most impressive rosters in the state and it's not hard to see why. From experienced and talented wideouts to big bruisers in the trenches, their roster is top to bottom extremely talented. They should have big recruiting classes in both 2022 and 2023 respectively. A state title contender and a dominant force in Michigan High School football, West Bloomfield is a team that you should not miss out on seeing next season.

With that being said, let's check out some of the biggest talents on the team and what they do well:

[player_tooltip player_id="30133" first="Dillon" last="Tatum"]

There may not be a more versatile player in the state than Tatum. He has the ability to carry it out of the backfield and spread it out wide and beat defenders. Tatum's vision is on full display on film, as he is great at finding even the smallest holes and exploiting it. Currently uncommitted, Tatum is exploring options such as Michigan, Michigan State, and Baylor. Fans of all three schools should be eagerly anticipating a commitment from the highly versatile playmaker soon.

https://twitter.com/PrimeTimeDill/status/1404223553139089412?s=20

[player_tooltip player_id="30135" first="Michael" last="Williams II"]

With 16 offers so far, it's not hard to see why Williams is highly coveted by division one programs. He has the size to put his hand in the dirt or play at the linebacker position and read the field. Williams has great technique when pursuing a ball carrier and can break down and make a play on the ball. His hand fighting skills are veteran-like and he really excels at that part of his game. His offensive ability is also impressive and should only get better as this season gets started.

https://twitter.com/CSayf23/status/1347971877818556419?s=20

[player_tooltip player_id="30318" first="Amir" last="Herring"]

The top of the class of 2023 is starting to take shape, so expect to hear a lot about Herring for the next two seasons. His frame and strength stand out when watching his film, as well as his ability to fire out of his stance low to the ground. The saying "low man wins" may be cliche, but it rings true when Herring plays. It's tough to get low when you are 6'5, but he genuinely does and it helps his game immensely. There are certain things you can't teach and Herring does those little things well, which means he should be a hot commodity after this season.

https://twitter.com/amirherring55/status/1420821359471603718?s=20

[player_tooltip player_id="162651" first="Semaj" last="Morgan"]

After an impressive summer camp circuit, all eyes should be on Morgan as we enter the 2021 season. Morgan was the winner of the Rivals 2021 5 Star Challenge in May with an impressive display of route running and athleticism. He excels at getting seperation, which is the most important trait that a wideout can have. His footwork and balance are unmatched and his best days are still ahead, which should be scary for his opponents. The 2023 recruit has 10 offers so far, with a recent visit to Michigan. He has the ability to help West Bloomfield tremendously in the 2021 campaign and it should be fun to watch.

https://twitter.com/SemajM72/status/1413930715729760256?s=20

[player_tooltip player_id="30340" first="Thomas" last="Balazovic"]

Balazovic has the opportunity to be one of the top quarterbacks in the class of 2023. He has a quick release and complete command of the pocket, not letting pass rushers faze him as he works through his progression. With his immense disposal of offensive weapons, Balazovic could have a huge season in 2021 and put his name on the national map for the future.

https://twitter.com/TheD_Zone/status/1420141949542141958?s=20

[player_tooltip player_id="30177" first="Kyle" last="Johnson"]

Length at the safety position can be vital for a players stock. Colleges prefer length and athleticism, which Johnson has. He can run up and make a tackle at the line of scrimmage or make a play on the ball in the air. In the run game, Johnson has great instincts and can read and react faster than anyone on the field. His play style reminds me a lot of Notre Dame safety Kyle Hamilton, mostly for his length and ability to make a big hit while playing in the box. You won't see Johnson miss a tackle and he defends the backend of the defense very well. Hybrid safeties are the future of the game.

https://twitter.com/K3hd1/status/1353404848927100928?s=20

[player_tooltip player_id="30221" first="DeAntwan" last="Franklin"]

The ability to play on both sides of the ball as a lineman is especially impressive when a player excels at both. Franklin is a player who's been an interesting study during summer scouting. His lower body is massive and it doesn't affect his feet at all. He keeps them moving throughout the play and has a strong anchor as a guard, where I think he'll be most heavily recruited at the college level. With all the talented playmakers and quarterback play that West Bloomfield has, don't ignore the extreme talent that they have in the trenches.

https://twitter.com/DeAntwan64/status/1194400892595953664?s=20

Previous team/player previews:

Detroit Martin Luther King Jr: https://prepredzone.com/2021/07/top-mlk-jr-detroit-players-for-the-2021-season/

Cass Tech: https://prepredzone.com/2021/08/top-cass-tech-players-for-the-2021-season/
