Pitt had their second camp this past Sunday, June 13th. We take a quick look at some of the player who was there and stood out.
[player_tooltip player_id="64019" first="Tyreese" last="Fearbry"] came to Pitt camp once again. This was his fourth visit to Pitt since the official recruiting period began June 1st. Right now, it looks like he is staying loyal to his hometown. And by coming to the same camp twice shows his competitiveness to the Pitt coaches. Saw him at receiver this time and didn’t look too bad. At this point, I wouldn’t be surprised if he attends another camp at Pitt.

[player_tooltip player_id="27582" first="Devin" last="Barren"], the Pittsburgh Central Catholic defensive back looked good out there. He showed quickness and speed with good pursuit angles. If he has a really good senior season, he’ll be a Power 5 player.
[player_tooltip player_id="27609" first="D’Angelo" last="Stocker"] played both corner and safety at the camp. He was physical at the line of scrimmage and showed to drop his hips with receivers. Stocker has a few FBS offers and if he has a good senior season, he should be another Power 5 player.

[player_tooltip player_id="64024" first="Nodin" last="Tracy"], the West Allegheny defensive back looked really smooth and quick in individual drills. Seeing him live playing cornerback confirmed that he will be a safety. He just lacks the overall top-end speed to be a corner but looked good out there. He is definitely an FBS player. Cannot wait to see how he performs his junior season. Here is a quick clip:

[player_tooltip player_id="93058" first="Jackson" last="Pons"], the 2024 athlete who did transfer to Pittsburgh Central Catholic earlier this offseason transferred back to Norwin. Anyways, he did not disappoint and was as advertised. Pitt had him as a receiver. During 7-on-7s he was thrown to quite a bit and caught everything, did not see him drop a ball. My concern is still his speed. I still believe he will be a better defensive back when it’s all said and done. It will be interesting to see how he continues to develop.

*Other Notes: [player_tooltip player_id="27735" first="Rodney" last="Gallagher"] was on the roster and was excited to see him, but he was nowhere to be seen. Also, [player_tooltip player_id="64565" first="Quinton" last="Martin"] was there, but was not on the roster and unfortunately, did not find out about him being there near the end of camp. Very disappointed I was not able to get a look at him. Hopefully, next time!
