Brazel is such a cerebral gun slinger and it shows when he goes to work in the pocket. He has a great deal of experience at the head of the huddle and it’s that’s what it’s going to take to make a deep run in the postseason. Keep an eye on Brazel and the Knights this time of year.

Zander Brazel of East Noble is a quarterback that thrives under pressure, literally. He displays an above average ability to move around the pocket and make throws under duress. When facing the need to escape and make plays outside the pocket, Brazel puts his elusiveness on display. However, don’t think of him as one to leave the pocket too soon. Brazel isn’t afraid to stay in the pocket, reset his feet, and fire a dart to his target. He’s a passer first but will find opportunities to make plays on the ground, if needed. He did average about one touchdown per interception last season but another year of experience under his belt and a determined offseason will reap positive results in 2023. His quick decision making and athletic ability puts him in a position to make noise this year.
