Expert Analysis

Schnorrbusch had a tremendous season leading the state in receptions. What immediately stood out to me is his routine ability to high point and catch the ball with his hands. Schnorrbusch appears to hit his top speed at about 6 yards from scrimmage. For whatever reason Schnorrbusch seems to deceive defenders with his speed, thus allowing himself to get behind them. When off and running, Schnorrbusch will use the stiff arm to create space from would-be tacklers. He is unafraid to go over the middle. In those short-to-intermediate routes he will go and attack the ball, snagging it out of the air. Against press coverage Schnorrbusch wins at the line with a shake-and-bake to get open. A few more opportunities lining up all over the field would do Schnorrbusch’s film some good, as well as developing the habit of sinking his hips when he break’s the stem of his route. Right now he seems to slow down a bit before cutting.

One of the most impressive statistical seasons on both sides of the ball, Zach has put up one of the best seasons in New Jersey his senior year. As a receiver for Ramapo, Zach has dominated every player he has lined up against. Few receivers go over 1000 yards on the year, but here Zach is with 1234 yard and an astonishing 18 touchdowns through the air. Just as impressive, on the defensive side of the ball Zach has been forcing turnovers left and right. Bringing in 5 interceptions (returning one for a touchdowns) and forcing 2 fumbles, Zach is primed to have another big performance.

For as great of a season Landon Deprima Landon Deprima 6'2" | 180 lbs | ATH Ramapo | 2024 NJ has had, it is fair to question whether or not he would be having such success without his fellow 2024 classmate, receiver Zachary Schnorrbusch Zachary Schnorrbusch 6'0" | 175 lbs | WR Ramapo | 2024 NJ . Ramapo has one of the most talented teams in North 1, and a lot of their success can be attributed to Zach Schnorrbusch. With 5 interceptions on the season, it has been extremely difficult for opposing QBs to have any success throwing his direction. He has quick play recognition, and swipes the receivers hands down to force the incompletion. With 1 FF and an interception returned for a touchdown, Zach has the potential to make momentum changing plays any time he is on the field.
