An outstanding form tackler, Schneider keeps his eyes on the quarterback as he gets to his drop in pass protection; in a similar sense, he reads his keys and seems to make consistently correct reads – so much so that he can shoot the backside window. When offensive lineman manage to latch on to him, Schneider is very good at getting an arm free and wrapping up a single-leg of the ball carrier – proving that he understands his run fits and abides by them well as a true, team defender. When changing directions I would categorize Schneider’s ability to hip flip somewhere between “solid” and “good.” Make no doubt about it: Schneider is. well coached two-way linebacker.
