I had a lot of fun evaluating this young athlete Xavier Winkelmann Xavier Winkelmann 5'11" | 180 lbs | WR The Bullis School | 2029 State VA , as he is an incredible wide receiver. Xavier totaled up to 54 receptions, 995 receiving yards with 8 touchdowns. Xavier is currently listed in the top 30 wide receivers but when you turn his film on you would not be able to spot a difference from the top 5 or even the top 3 wide receivers as he can do it all and is very talented. Winkelmann is very explosive and displays elite body control while coming down with the ball. Xavier is able to run any route in the route tree and it will be ran very crispy which leads him to making separation, he has some of the strongest hands i have seen in this class and strength to beat press coverage and still make a great catch.

Xavier Winkelmann Xavier Winkelmann 5'11" | 180 lbs | WR The Bullis School | 2029 State VA is one of the most impressive 2029 receivers who’s outside of our top 15 at the position. He does a lot of things well, and stood out in our Winter Showcase earlier in the year.

He was a varsity player as a freshman, and is incredibly advanced for his age when it comes to route-running, footwork, and ball skills. It’s easy to see why Wakefield-Arlington’s staff had a hard time keeping him off the field in 2025.

Watching him juke out defenders with double-moves and head fakes on a consistent basis is extremely intriguing to see, and it’s obvious that he’s been coached very well so far.

It honestly wouldn’t be surprising to see Winkelmann start to rake in D1 offers in 2026.

Became familiar with Winkelmann’s game right before our Winter showcase and he proved his worth with his outing last month. The Wakefield Warrior wide receiver stood out in what was a very talented room with prospects in the 2026-29 classes on site. Winkelmann was able to stand out and then some, remember his name if you follow Northern Virginia football. He ran better routes and got separation right in front of our eyes last month, he is bound for a monster sophomore season.
