Lacardo earns the #5 overall spot in the debut 2030 MD rankings and is the #3 overall WR in what is shaping up to be a loaded WR class. I have been able to see Lacardo live in person multiple times since last spring and he has impressed every time. A long, lean, athletic wide receiver. He can get down field and make difficult catches and win 50/50 balls. Lacardo possesses a big catch radius and leaping ability to go up and get it. A strong route runner for a freshman. Lacardo gets a good release off the LOS, pushes & stems well and makes smooth breaks. Uses his body movement well to get DB on his heels and create separation. A smooth runner after the catch he can get some good YAC. Lacardo currently hold no offers but colleges will certainly be seeing him this winter and spring and making him a high priority 2030 prospect.
