Atkinson is a big and physical ball carrier that packs a punch at the POA, runs behind his pads with natural forward lean and pad level and shows he can get vertical in a hurry and gain the tough yards inside. For his size, he is a very smooth runner that shows good vision in tight windows, cutback abilities in the open field and has under-rated elusiveness for a larger back. He is also very active from his linebacker position, showing closing speed, and pass rush abilities from various angles while extremely tough to block when knifing into the backfield. he transferred from Narbonne this off-season and is one of the states best with offers from Cal and Georgia State.
