About Kane
Expert Analysis
Hunter Tierney | Prep Redzone Scout
Kane Anetema just looks natural out there running the offense. He looks so comfortable when he’s on the move, staying balanced while throwing on the run. His lower body mechanics are consistent and clean, which makes everything else about his game look smoother. The footwork really stands out — it’s the kind of detail that separates an average high school QB from one who looks ready for the next level. When it’s a quick, three‑step drop and fire, the ball is out on time with that classic rhythm coaches love. Add in those long strides and he’s got just enough speed to beat out linebackers who think they’ve got the angle. The arm strength is there, but what makes it pop is the touch he puts on throws outside the numbers. It’s confident, it’s controlled, and it makes him look like a quarterback who knows exactly how to run the show. Beyond the mechanics, you can see the poise — he doesn’t look rattled when pressure comes, and he’s willing to stand in and deliver. That kind of calm presence is huge for a young QB, and it gives off the vibe of a leader who’s only going to keep getting better with more reps.

Kane checks a lot of boxes colleges look for in a signal caller with his strong dual-threat skillset and size at 6’3” 185 lbs. He possesses a live arm that can push the ball vertically downfield or throw with velocity to the short/intermediate levels. Fluid action and smooth delivery on his release with the ability to throw from different off balance platforms and various arm angles. Clean footwork and mechanics throughout his drop back and in the pocket, he’s precise and maintains good ball positioning to get the ball out quick and on time. Like his ability to throw on the run to either direction and extend the play with his eyes downfield looking for an open target. A plus athlete that can pick up chunk yardage on designed runs, read options, and broken plays. Was a two year starter at North HS throwing for over 2,000 yards and 25 touchdowns in back to back seasons before transferring to Bishop Montgomery for his junior year. Was a top performer at the Elite 11 this past weekend in LA.
