Talk about a OL prospect that blew up the UND morning session of camp, as that is exactly what Rogers OL

did on Saturday. He showed off an excellent athletic bend for 6’4 295 pounds and showed off a well-developed pad-level in every rep I caught starting with Indy drills and then heading into 1v1s. Wyatt certainly showed off the Fighting Hawks staff that he is a hog molly you can depend on to always block to the whistle, as that is what firmly he did all day at camp and won several 1v1 reps with his outstanding leverage with plenty of drive in his lower body. After receiving an offer from North Dakota, Wyatt wasted no time with getting his first FCS offer by committing to the Fighting Hawks quickly. Wyatt is a prospect that from watching his 2022 season, was certainly a Division I fit in my eyes, and he certainly showed all of that on Saturday in Grand Forks as a blue-collar work horse that will certainly better the Fighting Hawks offensive line in the coming years. I would certainly give Wyatt my offensive line MVP from his showing at UND. Twitter

I got to watch Wyatt early in testing and a bit during Indy Drills too and he showed off why he is such a hot commodity on the recruiting trail right now. I don’t put much stock in evaluating 40 yard dashes for the offensive line however I had jotted down that I loved the athleticism I got from Wyatt’s 40 yard dash. When I got to watch Wyatt in Indy drills, he showed off plenty of instinct in his first steps into all his reps, and a strong bent that you can tell is belt for violence up front which stands highly true if you have watched Wyatt’s tape. His tape shows off plenty of the versatility you are going to want on a Division I FCS roster with swift hands, a nasty first step as a pull-blocker that runs like a downhill freight train downhill at the point of attack. Wyatt consistently drives blocks into the second level with the huge plethora of physicality he brings off.

I just wrote about Rogers High School 6’4, 295 lber. offensive lineman Wyatt Bell as one of the 2024 ranking update’s Top Stock Risers, so I’ll make sure to focus on Bell as a thumper and try not to repeat myself. It makes sense to have linemen represented on the list of MN’s hardest hitters, but to fully utilize their ability to inflict big hits, offensive linemen need to have body control, and luckily Bell is not lacking in that department. He’s a good athlete, and his testing numbers at the Stock-Up Showcase in December proved that, but to watch him bring the boom you have to turn the tape on. Able to generate a ton of force from just one step into an opponent, Bell’s got a ton of pop and uses well-timed hits in prime body locations to create big collisions, and you bet your butt he’s going to come out on the winning side of those hits. He can also run you over and into the turf with seemingly little effort and can create big hits with less effort than his counterparts on this list. Nothing designs big running holes better than big hits and pancakes, so no wonder the Royals had one of the most prolific rushing attacks in MN last year.

is another darkhorse in the ’24 OL race and is coming off a great junior campaign that helped lead to one of the best performances out of both the OL and DL groups from the PrepRedzoneMN Stock-Up Showcase. Fellow PRzMN scout Brian Jerzak told me he was the best offensive lineman in attendance, and seeing him run a 5.12 and 5.19 40-yard dash at 6’4, 300 lbs. during the Showcase was an impressive sight to see in its own right. In December, Bell earned his first college football offer from Southwest Minnesota State, and since then MSUM, Winona State, South Dakota, North Dakota, NDSU, and Minnesota have reached out with junior day invites. On tape, Bell brings a ton of pop to the point of attack, and I also love his body control that shows up when he’s shifting laterally, adjusting his feet, and breaking down in space. He’s also a strong and controlled puller who can get to top speed impressively, and I also like how he uses leverage to his advantage and works to get opponents off balance and then into the turf. Honestly, in retrospect, he should be ranked higher, so keep your eyes out for him this offseason, in the coming micro updates, and of course, next fall. Bell is hard to miss.

On the other side of the ball, Bell ended up being my favorite offensive guy to watch on the day. He used a good base to set up two straight solid pass blocking reps. Then, a strong punch off the snap and good footwork beat another defender. His athletic ability helped him stay with a defender despite a good inside speed move. He lined up at both guard positions and center, stoning guys with his powerful hips and punch off the line.
