Wright is a corner that is smart with his approach to the game and knows how to use the field to his advantage. You can see him checking down and distance, using that to anticipate throws and being able to drive on the ball when it is thrown. He is able to read through the receiver to the QB’s eyes and breaks on the ball playing through the receivers hands and knocking it down. He shows soft hands being able to come down with interceptions when he is able to get both hands on the ball. His vision is top tier as he doesn’t bite on the double moves and stays over top of receivers not letting them get behind him..

He moves exceptionally well in coverage as a cornerback with outstanding instincts that help him get into the correct position to make a play on the ball. He does a great job at keeping his eyes disciplined, especially when covering a double-move route. Wright’s athleticism and ability to identify passing concepts are just a few qualities that make a recruit to watch.
