Smith is a lengthy two-way player that can make an impact on both sides of the ball. On the defensive end he is able to read the QB’s eyes and break on the ball, showing soft hands coming away with interceptions. He has the speed to be able to run with receivers and can come up making a tackle on the underneath passes. He is good at tackling in the open field chopping down the ball carriers low. On the offensive end he is used at multiple positions to try and get the ball into his hands so they can use his explosiveness. He is shifty when he gets into the open field and can take it to the house when it turns into a foot race. He has soft hands and can be a good possession receiver coming down with difficult receptions.
Fuller is a big play waiting to happen as he is able to show his big play ability consistently. He has soft hands and can come away with the difficult catches on both sides of the ball. He has great vision and you can see that on his interceptions, setting up his blocks and navigating through to get into the endzone. On the offensive end he has good body control bringing the ball down and then being able to get into the open field and make things happen with his legs. He can bounce it to the outside and turn it into a foot race, not losing many of those with his speed. Has some shiftiness to him as he is able to make the first guy miss and is difficult to bring down.
Gillispie is a player that has a lot of strength and can use that to drive the offensive player back into the backfield disrupting the play. He has a good first step off of the line which allows him to get hands on first. He has good hands being able to extend his arms getting the opponent off-balanced and then throwing them past him as he gets into the backfield to cause pressure on the QB. Has the pursuit ability to track down the back and when he gets hands on the ball carrier he doesn’t let them get away. His swim and rip moves are quick which cause problems for the linemen, making it a tough task to be able to block him.
Highlights
Gonzales is an explosive player that can make things happen on both sides of the football. On offense he can be a great possession receiver that has the ability to get those big chunk yardage. He is a threat anytime they get into the redzone, as his height advantage creates mismatch problem for corners. He is able to go up and highpoint the ball like he is on defense and come down with the difficult catches outside of his frame. He has soft hands and makes catches in traffic, showing off his catch radius. On defense he is smooth and shows nice hips being able to open up and run with receivers. He can break on passes and come up making a tackle in the open field. He is a threat to take it to the house whenever he gets an interception as well.
Highlights
Wright is a corner that is smart with his approach to the game and knows how to use the field to his advantage. You can see him checking down and distance, using that to anticipate throws and being able to drive on the ball when it is thrown. He is able to read through the receiver to the QB’s eyes and breaks on the ball playing through the receivers hands and knocking it down. He shows soft hands being able to come down with interceptions when he is able to get both hands on the ball. His vision is top tier as he doesn’t bite on the double moves and stays over top of receivers not letting them get behind him..
