If 2026 Parkersburg WR/TE Tytan Parsons Tytan Parsons 6'4" | 205 lbs | TE Parkersburg | 2026 State WV can stay healthy this season, watch for him to have a big year for the Big Reds. He’s an imposing target out wide and will create mismatches for corners. If Parsons can play a full season, he has the talent to warrant more FCS offers.
Here’s what we recently said about Parsons in our 2026 Rankings Stock Risers article:
“2026 Parkersburg TE Tytan Parsons Tytan Parsons 6'4" | 205 lbs | TE Parkersburg | 2026 State WV has been a tough eval due to a lack of film, with an injury setting him back last season. Having seen him in camp settings, he’s always had the potential to be a sought-after prospect, which is occurring this summer as he gets out to college camps. Parsons impressed D1 Morehead State earlier this summer at their camp and picked up his first offer from the Eagles, where his older brother David currently plays. He projects as a TE at the next level in our eyes with his frame, and has a high ceiling there if he can stay healthy and continue to add the needed size for the position.”

2026 Parkersburg WR Tytan Parsons Tytan Parsons 6'4" | 205 lbs | TE Parkersburg | 2026 State WV had a very good night at the camp and earned a WR MVP award for his performance. Parsons is another physically impressive young athlete who is still growing into his body. He has quality ball skills for his size and moves fluidly for a bigger receiver. Parsons was one of the top 1-on-1 performers in both the open field and goal line portions of camp. He got some run on varsity this season for the Big Red and should be poised for a breakout senior year in 2025.

Older brother David captained the Big Reds’ offense at a high level last season but younger brother Tytan Parsons Tytan Parsons 6'4" | 205 lbs | TE Parkersburg | 2026 State WV will be a prospect to know in his own right. He was a good JV player last season and should carve out a varsity role for his junior season. Linebacker sounds like a possibility for where he’ll see a role this year which makes sense given his size with WR potential as well. Parsons has D1 bloodlines and should develop into a quality prospect himself by his senior year. He has the body type to grow into a tight end body as well in the future which may end up being his best position.
We’ll see what Parsons does at the varsity level this season but he’s impressed enough to this point to be considered a Top 150 prospect in the 2026 class.

who will be on his way to D1 Morehead State, Tytan has the bloodlines to develop into a very good player in his own right. He’s beginning to grow into the size his older brother has and is now listed at 6’3 180 with a long catch radius that he displayed as a sophomore. Parsons can develop into a big-time jump ball receiver with his length and athleticism which he flashed at times last season on the JV team. He showed athletic versatility on defense as well lining up at safety and proved he can run around in the open field on defense and make plays too further speaking to his athleticism. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him grow into a possible TE or LB prospect by the time he’s a senior if he continues his physical growth trajectory. Parsons will rank lower than he’ll likely end up in the end until he produces at the varsity level, but we expect him to be a big stock riser in the rankings over the next two years.
