Northfield had a very fun roster in 2025. The Raiders, a 4A competitor in the 507, had size, dynamic ability, and explosiveness in droves last season, and they return a lot of talent for this fall, including 6’5, 200 lber.

. A TE/EDGE/DE combo, Holz is also a solid hooper for Northfield, coming in ranked 189th in the state on PrepHoops and their 2027 class, and Holz’s game on the gridiron isn’t a slouch either, as he was a playmaker on both sides of the ball and spent a decent amount of time in opponent’s backfields in 2025 from his DE spot. The 200 lber. melted beautifully into the lane of a screen for a near pick-six against Rochester Century, closes quickly from his DE spot, and is overall an effective edge defender who attacks blockers and tacklers with proper pursuit leverage. Holz displays burst and physicality after the catch and showed he can create separation and beat DBs in a foot race as a route runner, as well as win 1v1 assignments against DEs as a run blocker for Northfield’s offense. Lots to like on this versatile resume from a rangy, lean, long 507 product.
