, and with the way Northfield utilizes their TEs in the passing game, Holz could be in for a heavy workload in 2026. Holz saw limited playing time behind the upperclassmen on the roster, but warrants immediate attention for his size, length, and usage as a multi-purpose tool both on the Edge and at TE. A capable pass-rusher who uses his lengthy frame to his advantage to pose as a difficult defender to block, Holz can easily set the edge to contain the QB and the outside-run, just as much as he’s able to contain the edge to open up room for the run-game, and can stretch the field as a down-field target. Holz holds a pair of D3 offers already, and is bound to be one of the Raiders’ priority targets at the next level entering his senior season.

already at the TE position as he enters his senior season, and he has some big shoes to fill replacing the departing Kayden Oakland, who held a huge role for the Raiders’ offense last season. Holz saw a lot of playing time last season at DE, where he will likely continue to see split reps on in 2026, where he flashed his lengthy wingspan, explosiveness, and big-play potential. He added 3 receptions for 26 yards on offense, flashing his capabilities as a solid pass-catcher, while possessing the size and frame that can be built upon to further make him a physical mismatch against opposing LBs and DEs. Holz should become a major two-way threat for the Raiders in 2026 as they look to earn back-to-back winning seasons.

Northfield had a very fun roster in 2025. The Raiders, a 4A competitor in the 507, had size, dynamic ability, and explosiveness in droves last season, and they return a lot of talent for this fall, including 6’5, 200 lber.

. A TE/EDGE/DE combo, Holz is also a solid hooper for Northfield, coming in ranked 189th in the state on PrepHoops and their 2027 class, and Holz’s game on the gridiron isn’t a slouch either, as he was a playmaker on both sides of the ball and spent a decent amount of time in opponent’s backfields in 2025 from his DE spot. The 200 lber. melted beautifully into the lane of a screen for a near pick-six against Rochester Century, closes quickly from his DE spot, and is overall an effective edge defender who attacks blockers and tacklers with proper pursuit leverage. Holz displays burst and physicality after the catch and showed he can create separation and beat DBs in a foot race as a route runner, as well as win 1v1 assignments against DEs as a run blocker for Northfield’s offense. Lots to like on this versatile resume from a rangy, lean, long 507 product.
