out of Homestead. Ty is continuing to grow, and now checks in at 6’4″ 200 lbs. A really solid frame for the TE position. Ty has cut his teeth at the varsity level with his impact as a run blocker. He has learned to use leverage, keep his feet moving through the block, and is showing he has the mental tenacity to want to manhandle guys in the trenches.
That is exciting to see because the ’28 is most natural as a receiving threat. While he hasn’t gotten many chances to show it off, Ty has delivered in his moments. The kid has reliable hands, attacks the ball at the high point, and has the athletic tools to win out wide or coming from the inline position. I’m hoping to see the targets continue to grow a bit for Ty and we see that breakout year. Either way I know he is going to continue to make an impact in the run game.

This will be an interesting situation to follow. Homestead has a solid base of talent returning in 2025, but do we see 2028

earn his way into a varsity role this fall? The talent and untapped potential is there. He has a strong frame with a large catch radius at 6’1″ 190 lbs. The large frame doesn’t hamper his speed either, it just seems to boost his ability to break tackles out in space. The ’28 is a playmaker after the catch too, knifing through DBs for extra yards after the catch. However it works out this fall, Ty is a long term athlete to keep close eye on.

We round out our Top 10 with an exciting WR prospect. Ty already possesses the frame needed to dominate out wide. His frame stands out from the crowd on tape, and so does the strength built into it. He is able to use his size to create space and to keep DBs from pumping him off his routes. The strength carries all the way out to his hands where he is able to make secure catches through traffic. Ty was an imposing presence lined up against kids his own age. I look forward to seeing him vs varsity competition soon. His freshman highlights are linked below!
