Tomlionson can high-point the ball and tear it away from defenders in coverage, and also makes some seriously impressive grabs along the sideline and across the middle.“

All of this was easy to see as Tomlinson ended the year with 66 receptions for 1283 yards and 14 TDs. With that kind of production, Tomlinson has seen his recruitment ramp up and has received offers from Samford, Illinois State, Chattanooga, and more.

Everyone needs to watch out for Saint Michael Catholic this fall, I can’t stress it enough.

Tomlinson is a skinny WR prospect coming off a productive fall and generating some D1 buzz. He might not scare you off the bus, but he is an impressive operator at receiver and has room for physical maturity. He is quick off the line and does a good job of deceiving and creating pause in DBs at the top of the route. For a thinner guy, he plays well through contact, which you can attribute to his body control, hands, and efficiently timed jumps. He is fluid after the catch and can contribute at each level of the field. Might lack P4 juice athletically, but he has some impressive tape and has tacked on D1 offers.

Tomlinson is a terrific route-runner- he has great footwork and can make some great cuts to gain tons of separation from the defenders. Tomlinson is always finding ways to get open and has a terrific set of hands he uses to secure tough-to-catch passes all around the field. He has some great athleticism he uses to highpoint the ball and tear it away from defenders in coverage. All of this was easy to see as Tomlinson was incredibly reliable all last season- he ended the year with 42 receptions for 712 yards and 5 touchdowns. It was really impressive watching Tomlinson’s tape- he is a threat at every level of the field, has great hands, and can burn anyone he lines up against.
