Jones is extremely good at getting open- he finds ways to gain separation against all types of defensive backs, at every level of the field, in every game. Jones is a great route runner- he has a quick release, gets out of his breaks, and constantly finds ways to shake off DBs at or beyond the line of scrimmage.

When open, Jones does a great job securing catches and making defenders miss after the catch- he does a great job avoiding unnecessary contact and can make a ton of plays with the ball in his hands. 

Jones put together another huge season with Gunnar Rivers. This year, Jones brought in 71 receptions for 1056 yards and 18 TDs.

What he, Gunner Rivers Gunner Rivers 6'2" | 175 lbs | QB St. Michael Catholic | 2027 State AL , and the rest of Saint Michael Catholic’s passing attack have done over the last two years has been must-watch.

Jones dominated last season, hauling in 104 receptions for 1581 yards and 15 TDs. I love watching Jones- he’s an incredibly well-rounded and reliable pass catcher who has developed great chemistry with Rivers over the last two years.

When he gets open, Jones does a great job securing catches and making defenders miss after the catch- he does a great job avoiding unnecessary contact and is able to make a ton of plays with the ball in his hands. Jones has been extremely reliable for his offense this season, and the stat sheet shows it- throughout this year, Jones has racked up 72 receptions for 1050 yards and 10 touchdowns. Be sure to watch out for Jones the rest of this year and next fall- he’s shown a ton of promise this fall and is sure to keep making huge plays!
