About Tucker

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I play with physicality, intensity, and versatility — I’m a big, aggressive receiver who creates mismatches on offense and a relentless edge rusher who brings pressure on defense. I play with a tough, never-back-down mindset and try to set the tone every time I step on the field.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m driven and hardworking, shaped by growing up on a farm where I learned discipline, responsibility, and grit. I have a team-first mindset, thrive under pressure, and always push myself to improve both on and off the field

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I’m from a small town in rural Oklahoma, where I’ve grown up working on my family’s farm, taking care of horses and cattle, and competing in saddle bronc riding. I stay active in my community through volunteer work, and I’ve consistently earned a spot on the Principal’s Honor Roll. I bring that same work ethic and dedication to the classroom, my team, and my community

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Growing up on a farm and playing multiple sports has taught me discipline, responsibility, and a strong work ethic. I’ve developed leadership by stepping up on the field and teamwork through collaborating with my coaches and team Working with horses and cattle has taught me responsibility and how to stay calm under pressure, while volunteering has shown me the value of giving back to my community.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One significant challenge I’ve faced is balancing all the different parts of my life—school, sports, working on the farm, and helping in the community. It can be a lot to manage, especially during busy seasons. But it’s taught me time management, discipline, and how to stay focused under pressure. I’ve learned to take pride in being dependable and giving my best effort, no matter what I’m doing.

What type of college are you looking for?

My goal is to attend a Division I college where I can compete at a high level athletically and also challenge myself academically. I’m especially interested in private universities with strong academic programs, but I’m also open to attending a state school closer to home if that’s the right fit. I’m looking for a place that will push me to grow both on the field and in the classroom.

Similar to Belletto, junior Tucker New Tucker New Tucker New 6'4" | 205 lbs | WR/DL Elgin | 2027 State OK was a player that we didn’t know much about but then he really impressed us during a team camp this spring. New first stood out on the offensive side of the ball and then he turned around and did the same thing on defense. New is a big receiver that’s going to give the Owls a threat down the field and a mismatch against almost every defensive back he goes against because of his size. Defensively, New is a terror to deal with coming off the edge. The Owls have a few of those players to keep an eye on this season that play the game in a similar fashion. New is going to be a player to watch and could enjoy a breakout season.
