Young is the most explosive playmaker out of the run-heavy Shadow Ridge backfield. The #8-RB in PRZ NV’s 2026 rankings leads the Mustangs in both rushing yards (967) and TDs this season (12). He’s an explosive runner with home-run playmaking ability in the speed, balance, and agility he provides out of the backfield. He’s extremely fluid, can find and exploit narrow spaces around the LOS, and packs a lethal combination of twitch and breakaway speed. Young is one of Nevada’s most underrated running backs and could be the difference-maker in a deep playoff run for Shadow Ridge.
