Cox picked up several lower-level offers from Lyon College, Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, Graceland and Central Methodist this month. He’s a versatile two-way player that excels on the defensive side of the ball with the athleticism and coverage skill he brings to the secondary from his safety spot. Plays with great range and instincts in coverage and can make plays from multiple defensive alignments. Cox holds other offers from Minot St., Puget Sound, Lewis & Clark, and a PWO offer from Northern Arizona.

Cox picked up his first offer from D-II Minot St. this month. The 5’11″/185 safety put his name on the radar with his strong junior season for Shadow Ridge in the fall (30 tackles, 2 INTs). Plays with great range and physicality from a deep alignment and shows no hesitation working downhill to close space. Strong instincts and versatility in coverage allow him to make plays all over the secondary. Cox has his stock on the rise heading into the spring months.

Cox just picked up his first collegiate offer from D-II Minot St. this week. He’s a versatile playmaker that fills multiple roles on both sides of the ball for Shadow Ridge and will likely find a home as a DB at the next level. Primarily deployed as a safety but showed some promising traits as a perimeter CB last season as well. Skilled athlete with the range to play single-high and the speed to match up with perimeter athlete. Fast and efficient to the football and brings great upside to the secondary in his ability to tackle in space. Look for Cox to turn his D-II offer into some FCS interest over the coming months.

was a do-it-all playmaker for Shadow Ridge’s freshmen team last fall. I believe the versatile athlete is best suited for defensive back at the next level. Watch for Stetson to continue developing as a defensive prospect this fall.
Stetson’s athleticism and good tracking ability shows up in good ball skills that allow him to highpoint interceptions over taller receivers. Quick feet and flashes of good acceleration show getting into phase in man coverage. Balance, strength, and vision showing in his tough finishes as a punt returner only add to Stetson’s value as a defensive back prospect.
