About Torreón

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a physical center who controls the line of scrimmage, communicates protections, and consistently opens interior lanes. I’m also a balanced center who can anchor against power, handle speed, and execute zone or gap schemes with consistency and toughness.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have a focused, competitive mentality. I’m disciplined, coachable, and always looking for ways to improve my game and help my team succeed as well as having accountability. I show up every day ready to work and compete.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve developed strong leadership skills by communicating pre-snap calls, keeping our offensive line organized, and helping younger players learn the system. Teamwork is a core part of my game—I take pride in working together, staying disciplined, and doing my job every play.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One of my biggest challenges has been proving myself as a younger player on varsity. Competing against older, more experienced athletes pushed me to elevate my training, study the game more, and earn my spot through consistent effort.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a Division I program that values strong academics and player development. With a 3.5 GPA, I want a school where I can compete at a high level on the field and earn a degree that sets me up for success after football.
