I was excited to see the impact that the sophomore WR could have for Appleton North. What I didn’t expect was to watch Alijah become one of the best returners in the entire state as a sophomore. As a kick returner, Alijah posted 7 returns for 156 yards and a TD. As a punt returner, Alijah went off for 13 returns, 178 yards, and 1 TD. Then on offense he added 27/274/1, which was second on the team in all categories. The rising sophomore is an electric athlete. With any touch he can take it the distance. We are talking about speed, agility, burst, vision, and that innate playmaking knack for creating something out of nothing. The ceiling is so high for the WR/returner.
