Torrance stood out on both sides of the ball during the weekend. Playing WR and S, he was all over the field and stepping up to make big plays. At WR he could get vertical, work across the middle and made sharp cuts in his routes. Torrance showed natural hands, able to go up and pluck it out the air. He made some big time tough catches and lots of scores on the weekend. On defense, he showed nice range. Covering lots of grass and attacked passes confidently for picks and PBUs. Don’t be surprised if Torrance sees an increased role at Donovan Catholic next fall and starts to become a name to know in the area.
