delivered a standout showing at the recent Prep Red Zone 7v7 event in New Jersey, reinforcing his reputation as one of the more polished and productive quarterbacks in the Northeast. Operating in a competitive 7v7 format that rewards quick decision-making, accuracy under pressure, and the ability to attack all levels of the field, Kayrouz consistently elevated his teammates with efficient, high-impact play. His arm talent and football IQ were on full display across multiple games, where he carved up defenses with a blend of rhythm throws, boundary accuracy, and downfield aggression. Kayrouz finished the event with strong completion percentages in contested windows and demonstrated the toughness and poise required to thrive in both structured pocket situations and improvised plays. At 6’0″ and 190 pounds, Kayrouz possesses a compact, sturdy build well-suited for the physical demands of the position. He shows good mobility within the pocket and the ability to extend plays when flushed, without sacrificing his base or mechanics.
Kayrouz features a lightning-quick release that allows him to get the ball out in tight windows, a critical trait in 7v7. He pairs this with a strong, live arm capable of driving the football downfield with velocity and tight spiral. Kayrouz repeatedly fit balls into tight coverage, giving his receivers opportunities to make plays after the catch while minimizing turnover risk. His touch on intermediate routes and deep balls was impressive, showing the ability to layer throws effectively. Comfortable operating from a clean pocket with sound mechanics, but equally dangerous when forced to move. He made several highlight-reel throws on the run, maintaining accuracy and arm slot while evading rushers — a skill set that translates well to both spread and pro-style schemes.

New E
is a quarterback who checks the boxes for production, arm talent, and intangibles. Expect his name to continue rising on regional and national boards as more evaluators see him operate in live settings. A legitimate prospect worth monitoring closely this offseason and into the fall campaign.

Tony Kayrouz – Top QB
Tony Kayrouz was the top quarterback at the tournament and checked every box you want in an elite program leader. He consistently made the right reads, showed a full understanding of both zone and man coverages, and delivered the ball with precision.
Mechanically sound with a smooth, repeatable motion, Kayrouz can make every throw on the field. The ball jumps out of his hand—he can really spin it. Simply put, he looks and operates like a Division I quarterback.

was impressive at AYF Nationals. His improvement from when I saw him at last year’s AYF National tournament to this years, was quite noticeable. Obvious things such as size, body composition and arm strength improved. However, he also appeared to take big steps in things such as leadership and the way he carried himself around his teammates. I can’t say for sure, but it looks like he was way more confident in his ability in 2024. After losing a very physical and close game to eventual runner 14U D2 runner-up Toms River (New Jersey) in their first game, Kayrouz and the Patriots would go on to post convincing shutout victories over the D-Town Steelers (Texas) and Palmdale Knights (California).
