I heard a little bit about Tony before the showcase, but I never expect a 2030 receiver to come in and show the things that he did. Like his teammate Jordan at the quarterback spot, Tony’s level of football understanding is at a high level above where you expect it to be. His releases and footwork off the line of scrimmage are impressive, and he made some high-level catches against good coverage on multiple occasions against 1 on 1 coverage throughout the showcase. I feel like he’s going to be on the receiving end of some big plays a lot throughout his career in Cleveland County.

A super impressive wide receiver out of the 2030 class out of the state of North Carolina came down to the Peach State and put on display just what he could do. When seeing such an impressive group of receivers at this event, it just showed how good you had to be in order to stand out. Both WR lines were full of talented pass catchers and Boyd proved to be one of those talented ones that made himself known and known quickly at this camp. He has strong route running ability and sure hands and I really was impressed with his talent and game. Look out for Boyd in the 2030 class for sure!

Tony Boyd is one awesome wide out in the state of North Carolina in the 2030 class. Boyd has the route running ability to get open on any secondary and he has a great set of hands to go along with great route running ability. He has twitchy skillsets and is a player that is only going to continue his development into a special wide out and player!

Tony Boyd is an awesome talent at the wide receiver position and I believe he’s going to continue to make a lot of noise with his ability, twitchiness and good hands as a pass catcher. he is a strong route running wide out who puts pressure on the secondary by getting open on a consistent basis. He is the real deal in the 2030 class out of the state of North Carolina. Watch out!
