West had a very productive sophomore campaign, with a team-high 9.5 tackles for loss in 2025. He also finished first on the team with 9.5 sacks last fall. West was tied for sixth place with 46 tackles, and he also recovered a fumble on the season. With West only being a junior this year, look for him to terrorize offenses for the next two seasons.

With nearly 10 sacks and 46 total tackles, West proved he can be a consistent disruptor off the edge.

Standing just under 6’2” with long arms, he brings ideal length and leverage to the position. What stands out most is his ability to impact both phases—he’s not just a pass rush specialist, but also holds his own against the run. West shows a natural feel for getting after the quarterback, making him a true sack producer with upside.

As he continues to develop physically and refine his technique, he has the tools to emerge as one of the next standout defensive prospects coming out of Northern Nash.

West flew a bit under the radar last season, but is one of the top returning pass rushers in the area. He picked up nearly 10 sacks last season for Northern Nash, flashing speed and power. He had some good tape against the run, and as he’s just a rising junior, he has plenty of time to grow as a player in that area. He’s one to watch at the edge position in 2026.

He was a big part of Northern Nash’s suffocating defense that gave up just 14 points per game once conference play started. He has the frame to add some more weight and we won’t be surprised if he grows another inch or too, either.
