There aren’t many multi-year starters across the state who made a bigger jump from year one to year two than Wade, who went from an early sophomore starter to a junior star. He can get sideline-to-sideline in a hurry, and he does more than just tackle (though he was the third-best tackler in the conference last season) with two interceptions as part of his impressive coverage skills.

Wade was all over the field, making multiple solo tackles in crucial first-half moments when the game was still in reach. His instincts and closing burst allowed him to finish plays cleanly in space. Beyond his production, Wade served as the emotional leader for the Knights’ defense, keeping his teammates locked in and energized.

While he projects as a potential nickel at the next level, Wade currently plays linebacker for Northern Nash-where he makes impact plays all over the field.

Known for his closing speed and instinctive play, Wade brings a track athlete’s burst to the gridiron. With a verified sub-12 second 100m dash, he’s a true sideline-to-sideline threat, and I’m excited to see that speed on full display during drills at the Super 75 Showcase.

In his latest highlight film, Jessie shows some good overall skills. Jessie is showing patience in reading the play, attacking the right gap, and making solid tackles in the run game. On blitzes, Jessie’s timing at the snap is good, and his ability to re-direct on the run is a plus. Finally, Jessie shows good speed in space in pass coverage, breaking down on running backs and receivers in space and making solid tackles. Jessie is on his way to being ranked in our next update.
