Thomas first came onto my radar at our Prep Redzone showcase back in January. He’s a legit 6’3-6’4 and 200 pounds. Watching him throw the ball he has great torque and a tight motion that creates easy velocity. He has the athleticism to throw from different arm slots. In his film you see the confidence, the accuracy, and the velocity to throw into downfield windows. Hartings has transferred into Olentangy high school for his senior season. I’m excited to see what Hartings can put on film in a good Braves passing scheme against the strong competition of the Ohio Capital Conference.

Thomas has made the move from Worthington Christian to Olentangy. He impressed at our Stock Up Showcase event, being highlighted by lead Ohio scout Jared Luginbill as a top performer in the QB group. He’s tall and throws with power. He’s able to use his legs as a weapon in the passing game and is versatile with his arm slots and releases. I’m excited to see what Thomas can do in D1 this season.

Hartings was not on my radar before this showcase. He definitely is now. He’s got the prototypical size you want to see for a QB at the next level. He generates a lot of velocity on his throws. The ball explodes out of his hand. He also shows the ability to throw from different arm angles. In 1v1’s he showed good accuracy and touch. I think he could storm onto the recruiting radar this camp season!

is a starting quarterback for Worthington Christian. Lefty. If he sets his feet and has time to throw, can sling it with great accuracy especially on the deep ball. Loves to throw the touch pass. Has a good arm. Not very elusive or a dual threat but is mobile enough to buy time with his feet, scan the field and pull the trigger under duress.

It was a solid Week 1 start for Hartings, who could have a breakout junior year. The 6-foot-3+ gunslinger shows great touch on the deep ball and the ability to roll out and throw on the move. Keep an eye on him as the season progresses.
