About Thomas

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Pro-Style QB, throw comfortably on the move, hits the deep ball with timing and accuracy.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I enjoy the game of football, the process of growing as a team and getting better every day - and that showing up on the field on Friday's. Was a team leader last year as a starting Sophomore QB, working to draw the team together across all age groups, Freshman to Senior toward common goal. Fun-loving and joy-filled in school and in life, also golf, shoot guns, hunt, and play basketball.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Earned the Daniel Award at School for being a representative leader at our school and a model for what it means to be a man of God, a man of character.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Leader of the off season sports training at our school for the football program.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

1. I hurt my ankle in game 4 this year, against Cincinnati Hill Christian, had to come out of the game twice for re-tape and found a way to get back in. Thought the ankle may have been broken so x-ray followed by a full week's rest, released to play at noon on the following Friday and led the team to a victory against Trimble.

What type of college are you looking for?

Competitive at the highest levels of the sport, quality academics with a focus in business/accounting/finance and reputation for high character program, coaches and players.

Hartings was not on my radar before this showcase. He definitely is now. He’s got the prototypical size you want to see for a QB at the next level. He generates a lot of velocity on his throws. The ball explodes out of his hand. He also shows the ability to throw from different arm angles. In 1v1’s he showed good accuracy and touch. I think he could storm onto the recruiting radar this camp season!
