Read EvaluationCole Dobbins | Prep Redzone Scout
Cook is an extremely fun prospect to watch and should expect another step forward and a breakout in his senior year. He gets involved with his hands at the line of scrimmage and plays with great motor. Cook excels at turning his hips and running with WRs in man coverage. He displays great twitch and is fluid in his back-pedaling. These traits, along with continued development in his frame and ball skills, should result in an electric 2025 for Cook and the reigning state champs. He currently holds offers from 11 schools, including Coastal Carolina, Tulsa, and Texas State.

Read EvaluationMarcus Henry | Prep Redzone Scout
Cook Jr. has the skill set of an elite cover cornerback. He is a sticky defender in press coverage, he had superb footwork combined with oily hips and his ability to change directions quickly enables him to stay locked at the hip with receivers in coverage. Cook Jr. is technically sound and he has violent hands with a stiff punch in close quarters to reroute wideouts at the point of attack. He has the speed to cover deep routes with ease. He had a stellar junior season, helping lead North Crowley to a state title. He saw his stock rise this past season and he picked offers from SFA, UTEP, Tulsa and Arkansas State in January.
