About Hayden
Expert Analysis
Alin Edouard | Prep Redzone Scout
Hayden is a 6’2” WR/TE who brings a strong mix of size, athleticism, and versatility to the field. He shows the ability to be a reliable target in the passing game, using his frame well to shield defenders and come down with contested catches. On film, he moves fluidly for his size, working the middle of the field and finding soft spots in coverage, while also showing the toughness to take hits and hold onto the football. His ability to line up both in-line and split out wide creates matchup problems, especially against smaller defensive backs.
He also flashes physicality in the run game, showing a willingness to engage as a blocker and compete at the point of attack. As he continues to add strength and refine his technique, that part of his game will only improve. With his length, hands, and positional flexibility, Hayden projects as a valuable hybrid weapon at the next level. He recently picked up an offer from Colorado Buffaloes football, showing his recruitment is starting to gain real traction.

Hayden made his presence felt during his recent scrimmage, showing flashes of why he belongs on the 2028 watchlist. With his ability to get open and make plays in space, he’s a receiver that defenses will have to account for all year. What makes Hayden exciting is that he’s still putting all his tools together, which means his ceiling is even higher than what he’s already shown. If he continues to sharpen his route running and build on his early momentum, expect him to be a consistent playmaker for his team this season.

Green is set to make his high school debut with a talented North Crowley team. He had a great fall camp and should see some game action this fall. He is a big target who run crisp routes, he has strong hands and his ability to play above the rim enables him to win on the 50/50 balls. Green earns his keep by being ferocious blocker making him an asset to the running game. He is a young receiver to keep an eye on in Week 0.

Green is a silky smooth route runner, he has an explosive first step, he has excellent body control that he uses well to create separation off the ball and he was able to get open often during the showcase. He runs well and put up a great 40 time, he moves well in space, showing the ability to change directions quickly and he has good hip bend. Hayden has a large catch radius, with large mitts that attack the football in flight, he has superb ball skills and he is a natural catcher of the football, making it look routine when he grabs the ball out of the air. Hayden has been on tear this spring on the 7v7 circuits, he is a matchup problem who has the speed to stretch the field and he plays of the above the rim, with the elite body control to elevate and win on the 50/50 balls consistently. He won reps consistently, making an array of big grabs while running every route with precision. Green is one of the most talented athletes in the 2028 class and he has the chance to get on the field early at North Crowley in 2024.

An eye-test passer right away at a verified and legitimate 6-foot-1 and 170-pounds as a Wide Receiver in just the seventh-grade. One of the bigger and taller class of 2028 prospects in the country right now, he also tested well with a 4.9 in the forty and an impressive 4.81 in the shuttle. Looking at the numbers, I really liked the shuttle run time showing off his change of direction quickness. Found a way to consistently create separation and give Quarterback’s a window to toss the rock to.

Two of the eighth-graders (class of 2027) Wide Receiver’s that made the First Team All-Camp Team (will be released soon) already have multiple reported Division 1 offers, so the competition to earn recognition here was tough. Nonetheless, seventh-grade prospect

look really impressive. Measured in at a verified 6-foot-1 and 170 pounds and ran a hand-timed, 4.9 in the forty. Huge catch radius and some good ups make him a 2028 prospect to know.
