On film, kade showed that he can be a dependable target in the passing game. The biggest thing that stand out is his feel for spacing and his way of finding the endzone.
As a route runner , kaden is becoming more intentional with with his steps. He’s shows that he can set defenders up instead of running routes a fade route. He also shows that he can run almost every route. His confidence will carry on into the 2026 season. As his route tree expands, kaden will continue get the offers he wants.

Kade is a wide receiver who stands out for his speed and ability to stress defenses vertically. Once he gets into open space, he can quickly separate from defenders and force the secondary to stay honest at all levels of the field. On film, he shows strong acceleration off the line, clean stride length, and the ability to hit top gear fast, which makes him a consistent big-play threat whenever he touches the football.
He’s also starting to show growth in his overall receiver skill set, including improving his route pacing and learning how to set up defenders before breaking deep. While his speed is his calling card, he’s becoming more comfortable working underneath and finding ways to stay involved when defenses take away the deep ball.

Part of a dynamic duo of sophomore playmakers for the Panthers, Smith served his role as an elite gadget “wide-back” type player in the big win over DeSoto. He was impressive at all levels of the field, serving as a safety valve for both QBs in the screen game and in the flats. Smith displayed polished and explosive footwork that complements his incredible 4.3 speed. Kade also reeled in an impressive late 2nd quarter TD catch in the back corner of the endzone. The Panthers’ star has all the traits to be a dynamic slot receiver at the next level. Smith has received 10 offers from schools such as Duke, SMU, and Arizona.
