About Terrell

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’d describe my gameplay style as fast, physical, and smart. I play with energy every down, whether I’m blocking, running routes, or making plays, I bring intensity and focus. I stick to the fundamentals, great footwork, solid technique, and always knowing the assignment. I’m the kind of player that does the little things right and makes big moments happen.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality is all about competing I’m not a fan of losing, no matter what it is. I give my all every time because I want to win and help my team succeed. But off the field, I’m chill, easy to be around, and always trying to keep the energy up. I’m the kind of teammate who has your back, keeps things fun, and brings good vibes wherever I go.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Not currently, but I will be soon.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve developed strong leadership skills by always stepping up and setting the tone, whether it’s at practice, in games, or in the locker room. I’ve built a great connection with my teammates by earning their trust and always being there when they need me. I believe in leading by example through my work ethic, attitude, and effort. Off the field, I like giving back to the community and helping out

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Yeah, I’ve faced some real pain, especially with loss in my family. It was tough, but I used that hurt as motivation to keep going and make them proud. Football became my outlet it gave me something to fight for, something to stay focused on. No matter how heavy life gets, I always find a way to push through and keep my head up. That pain made me stronger, and it’s a big part of who I am today

What type of college are you looking for?

None in specific i'm open to any opportunities that I can be blessed with.

Next year, in June 2026, we may have to check on Terrell Smith Jr. Terrell Smith Jr. Terrell Smith Jr. 5'10" | 165 lbs | DB/ATH Louisville Male | 2029 KY to see if he knows what to do without the annual tilt between Tennessee and the Kentucky Future Stars–considering he’s been a staple on the squad since the 2022-2023 season/year. Now listed at 5-foot-10 and 150 pounds, Smith Jr. has grown three inches and put on 25 pounds from a year ago. As is the case with many of the prospects, he has the ability to play multiple positions in the secondary.
