The two-way prospect made play after play on both side of the ball. From his perch at safety, late in the third quarter, Jefferson made a great open-field tackle behind the line of scrimmage and recorded an interception on the next play. On offense, on the next ensuing series, Jefferson made a great catch off a tipped-pass to put the Bulldogs in business. He was quarterback Jordan Williams Jordan Williams 6'0" | 215 lbs | QB Louisville Male | 2026 KY ‘ go-to receiver and key playmaker.

I honestly could’ve included Colin Jefferson Colin Jefferson 6'0" | 165 lbs | ATH Louisville Male | 2026 State KY on either side of the ball for this series but he stood out to me the most on defense this past season. Jefferson lines up at safety where he is a true ball hawk in coverage. He does a great job of reading the play and flowing through the secondary accordingly. When the ball is in the air, he has shown the ability to break with perfect timing and cover a lot of ground to make a play on the ball. Jefferson finished his junior year with a team-leading four interceptions in 12 games. He also finished the season with 13 tackles and one tackle for loss, while also returning one punt for a touchdown. On offense, Colin caught 14 passes for 216 yards and four touchdowns as a junior. Jefferson currently holds an offer from Eastern Kentucky and I expect more to come his way as he is a true Division I caliber prospect.

Colin Jefferson Colin Jefferson 6'0" | 165 lbs | ATH Louisville Male | 2026 State KY is a player who has been on our radar for a while now and continued to stand out as a junior. Jefferson was very impressive on defense at safety, proving to be very reliable in pass coverage. He does a great job of reading the quarterback and flowing through the secondary to put himself in a position to make a play. When the ball is thrown his way, he has shown impressive ball skills, coming away with four interceptions in 12 games this past season. He also showed the ability to make plays against the run, finishing the year with 23 tackles and one tackle for loss. Jefferson also proved to be a dangerous deep threat as a receiver on offense, catching 14 passes for 216 yards and four touchdowns, and made an impact on special teams, returning one punt for a touchdown. Colin currently holds an offer from Eastern Kentucky and I expect more to come his way as he is a Division I caliber prospect.

Coming in at number five on my list of standouts is Colin Jefferson Colin Jefferson 6'0" | 165 lbs | ATH Louisville Male | 2026 State KY , a wide receiver at Male High School. In addition to excellent versatility down the stretch, Jefferson catches my attention with his strong catching ability as well as his ability to juke out the defense off the short pass. I also like how Jefferson can create solid seperation both in the backfield and in the endzone, proving his ability to get wide open for the touchdown pass.

Jefferson stands out with his ability to haul in deep passes under heavy pressure from the defense, proving his overwhelming strength and relentlessness in coverage. Jefferson’s ability to juke out the defense and utilize bursts of speed to break free of pressure is another aspect of his playstyle that has made the difference this season.
