He did most of his damage out of the backfield, leading his team with 22 carries for 81 yards and three touchdowns. Tayden is a physical runner, showing the ability to lower his shoulder and run straight through defenders. He also completed a 24-yard pass and caught the game-winning 18-yards touchdown passes out of the slot. Lorenzen currently holds an offer from Miami (OH) and I expect more to come his way over the next couple seasons.

He did the most damage as an H-Back/tight end, finishing the year with 31 receptions for 363 yards and eight touchdowns in 13 games. Lorenzen showed great contested catch ability, showing the concentration and strong hands to make catches through contact. He also spent some time at quarterback, mainly as a rushing threat, where he proved to be a strong downhill runner. Tayden finished his sophomore year with 33 carries for 190 yards and four touchdowns, and also threw two touchdown passes. Lorenzen doesn’t currently hold any offers but he will be an intriguing prospect to keep an eye on as he has the ability to play multiple positions.
