Jimi Cox was one of a handful of Kentuckians who made the trip to the Hoosier State for the Indiana Exposure Camp. Cox is a very athletic prospect. Squares up at point o contact, broad shouldered, has plenty of room to grow. Consistent performer and gets downhill. Impressed with his athleticism and size. Tape shows a hard-hitting rusher who can deliver heavy hits against opposing quarterbacks, takes great angles to the ball and wraps up. Class of 2028 prospect for Highlands will be one to watch.

Cox started to flash last season and showed signs of what he can become with more opportunity. He’s a decent athlete with a solid frame, and I thought he held up well against the run while staying disciplined in his gap responsibilities. He finished with 26 tackles, 3 TFL, 2 sacks, and a fumble recovery, making the most of his snaps. With a full-time role on the horizon, he’s a name I expect to take a noticeable jump this fall.
