Junior quarterback Taven Hayes Taven Hayes 6'1" | 180 lbs | QB Southmoore | 2027 State OK returns for his second season as QB1 of the Sabercats this season. Last year, Hayes definitely had some growing pains in his first year as a starter but he absolutely produced. Hayes Put up some numbers that were among the best in Class 6A-2 and he’s hungry for more in 2025. Hayes is a true dual-threat at the quarterback position. We got a chance to watch Southmoore in person during the spring and Hayes was just as dangerous with his legs as he was with his arm. That running ability might be flying under the radar but he’s primed for a big year.
