Earning Varsity reps as a Freshman at Grand Rapids Catholic Central is very impressive!

Starting out against Notre Dame Prep, Tanner does a good job correctly reading the QB and immediately attacking once he rolls out. The QB ends up hesitating, leading to a sack. Next, another good attack. This time, against a designed QB run. All in all, Tanner flashes as an off-ball linebacker. This season, perhaps as a full-time varsity starter, I’m expecting much faster reaction and better play speed. Upgrades to these areas, although already above average, will help Tanner’s game quite a bit.
