Stephens is a big bodied runner that gets downhill quickly, runs behind his pads and can break arm/ankle tackles with ease while looking for contact in the hole and always falling forward. He has good balance in-between the tackles, waits for his blocks to develop before hitting the hole and is a smooth mover for his size that was very productive is only his sophomore season for Murrieta Valley. Heading into his Junior season he should be one of the more productive ball carriers across the region and have plenty of colleges come his way as he should be able to fill that bigger back roll for a college team down the line.
