About Shaheen

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I would describe my game as all gas no breaks and non-stop effort!

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality is to go out on the feild and show everyone who I am and what I can help my team achieve!

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I feel like I’ve developed a lot of leadership skills such as stepping up and being the guy during warmups and getting everything started! I’ve showed my community service this year like when we went down to the elementary to go read to the second and third graders!

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I’ve faced many challenges like starting my football career off at centennial highschool and not really having the support other kids had from their parents financially wise and sitting out my sophomore season and transferring to Peoria highschool and my uncle dying back in 2020 a month or so after my birthday and before my uncle dying my grandpa passed in 2015!

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college that will prepare and mold me to be the best player in the country and build me as a man and help me also academically!

Jones plays the hybrid SS/OLB role well at Peoria. He’s got good natural playmaking ability and raw potential to build on. Highly projectable frame at 6’4” 185 lbs. with room to add mass without sacrificing speed/athleticism. Lean build but has the natural strength and power to be a violent as a tackler and block shedder. Good movement skills, he shows the burst to close in pursuit and the lateral agility/change of direction to redirect in the open field. Multi-dimensional, he’s equally effective in run support and in coverage with the range to play sideline to sideline.
