Wore Number “Black 498” during camp. His performance stood out amongst the LB group that performed at the camp. He locked down all Tight-end’s that he competed against during 1 on 1’s. He is strong at the point of attack. He makes great use of their hands when pressing. He also showed his versatility by taking reps at the WR slot position. He is a Div 1 prospect who will have opportunities come his way by this time next season.

Sam had a good showing; demonstrating his versatility, strength and skills. He can play inside or outside linebacker and has good lateral movement. He has a good first step, and has keen field vision when in coverage. Sam also can contribute on offense but this player is best seen making tackles and covering to the boundary. His film shows more of the same, but Sam’s skills were on display all throughout the BB&N showcase.

2026 Sam Kelley Sam Kelley 6'1" | 220 lbs | LB Buckingham Browne & Nichols | 2026 State New E attends Buckingham Browne Nichols School in Massachusetts. He announced an offer from University of Massachusetts in December 2022 after a solid freshman season. He was selected as a All New England Pre-season linebacker for class of 2026 before the fall 2o23 season.

This 2023 fall season, he surely lived up to expectations and had an impressive season that led him to earning All ISL honors and All NEPSAC Conference honors.

He was ranked as our # 2 linebacker in the class of 2025 within New England before the fall 2023 season. His physical measurables align with Div-1 FBS college linebackers. He is a prospect projected to increase college football interest after his great junior season of play.

Sam Kelley

A very versatile athlete. He can play multiple positions and his Head Coach knows that. Another player I observed play in a live setting this season. He lined up at linebacker, runing back, full back/H-back, and Wide Receiver. On offense, he is a gem with the ball in his hands. At RB, he ran downhill and finished runs with power. At H-back, he was a force lead blocker, and at wide receiver he can pluck the ball in the air and always looks for the YAC.

On defense, he is a natural linebacker and has high-level instincts to run or pass situations. Checks many boxes for LB traits needed. He is just an all-around football player with a lot of football opportunities ahead of himself. Holds an early offer from Umass that he received after the 2022 season play.

Before season play, he was ranked as the # 2 linebacker in class of 2026 in New England.
