is a home run threat every time he touches the ball. I saw him score by 3 different ways on touchdowns. The 1st way is kickoff returns. Capria has elite speed and shows it off on kickoff returns. He also scored on several long touchdown runs. Then finally he caught a jet sweep for a long touchdown run. Capria has legit speed and elusiveness and shows it off in his films constantly. Capria has visited Syracuse several times, but he looks like he probably play more than likely at the Division 2 level of College Football.

I am hardly surprised by anything Capria does in camp settings. I’m used to the dynamic energy he brings to drills. Yet at this camp, not every coach I spoke to was familiar, so I made sure they knew a bit of his background, especially mentioning how well he’s performed at our camps, Rivals too. Capria overcomes his short stride with incredible foot quickness. Enough set-up skills and short area quickness to break angles set by LBs in this one. Got to see Capria catch the ball some, which is always an intriguing area. He won his fair share of 1v1s too, Capria stands as one of the more difficult backs in his class to hone in on. He did his thing at this camp.

Salvatore’s biggest hurdle in his recruitment is his size. At just 5-foot-8, he probably doesn’t get as many looks as he should be his athleticism, speed, elusiveness and production is four reasons he should be getting more looks and hopefully will this summer. He’s a bulky 5-foot-8 at 182-pounds but also posses 4.5 speed and can squat/deadlift over 500 pounds. He makes up for his lack of height with the rest of his skillset.

12-minute tape from an electric prospect who nearly debuted inside the top 150 in a loaded 600-deep junior class. Excited to see his speed up close at our combine, his play speed on tape looks legit. The second gear reveals itself on kick returns, as well as during 40-50-yard splash runs. Can break for these long runs both through the trenches in (possible) man-blocking schemes, or when given toss/sweep opportunities on the boundaries in (possible) zone-blocking schemes. Capria shows he can break runs from scores out of multiple sets. Hard to ignore the sheer amount of production out of this kid. I expect similar, if not better, numbers next Fall.
