About Rylon

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

When I'm on the field, I am constantly looking for opportunities to make plays and improve the game. I take football as not only a physical sport, but as a mental sport, with endless opportunities to improve. When i'm in the game, I tend to zone in on the gameplay and zone out my surroundings. I focus on my job on the field by playing hard and pushing myself with a competitive nature.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

In football, teamwork is my number one priority. I strive to empower those around me by using leadership skills and determination. I also value my next play mentality by recognizing mistakes and improving. I take every play as a lesson to be learned and my focus plays a large role in my playing style.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

A quality I seriously value is not only leadership, but grit as well. It's important to stay focused and determined as a team; and take wins and losses seriously. It's important for my team to bond on and off the field, by keeping leadership as a sole focus.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

During the summer of 2024, I was participating in football and basketball for ALA Ironwood. During this time, it was a struggle to balance it all. It had a drastic effect on my physical and mental health. After the summer, I grew as not only a player, but as a person as well.

What type of college are you looking for?

Going into college, I look for a non-toxic environment with a focused coaching staff. This being said, I want a coach with grit and determination in the teams best interest. I want to ensure proper teamwork is being exhibited throughout the duration of college and that focus is being maintained.
