Jordan Reyes | Prep Redzone Scout
Impressive two-way interior linemen that can dominate the LOS at 6’1” 290 lbs. Demonstrates his athleticism and versatility playing multiple positions on the OL and in pursuit on defense. Projects as an OG at the college level that can create consistent movement with good natural strength and power at the POA. Engages contact with a heavy initial strike while accelerating his feet to drive defenders off the ball in the run game. Latches on and sustains his block throughout the play to spring runs into the second level. Not just a downhill blocker, he’s light on his feet showing he can pull, work to the second level, and line up a block in space. Good ability to work laterally and mirror movement in pass protection to maintain a clean pocket from the inside. Performed well at the recent UA PHX Combine with a verified 75 inch wingspan and a 5.08 40 time. Two time All Region on the OL and one to watch on the recruiting trail this offseason.

Solid interior offensive lineman that carries a strong and compact frame at 6’1” 290 lbs. Brings a powerful and physical presence to the LOS with the toughness and technique to anchor the middle of the OL. He attacks his blocks with control aggression and a strong, balanced base. Plays with leverage and low pad level to generate movement in the run game and hold his ground against interior pass rushers. Engages with a strong initial punch and violent hands to sustain throughout the play while consistently finishing his blocks. Keeps a clean pocket in pass protection with good awareness and foot mobility to match defenders movement. High football IQ with a good understanding and execution of his assignment. Debuts in the rankings just outside of the top 100 overall and is the seventeenth ranked OL prospect.

Bryce is just one of those dudes who plays with control. It’s not flashy or loud — he just flat-out handles his assignment. He gets a clean grip on the inside of the defender’s pads almost every time, and once he’s locked in, it’s basically over. The defender has no real shot at dictating the rest of the play because Villeroel is already in the driver’s seat. That upper-body strength is no joke, either. He’s got a real knack for using it to twist defenders just enough to open up running lanes. What really stood out, though, is how consistent he is with it. This isn’t a one-play highlight kind of guy. He’s doing the same thing over and over again, and that kind of reliability is a coach’s dream. Now, he’s not the fastest-footed lineman out there, but he doesn’t need to be. He keeps things tight and smart — lets defenders come in thinking they have a shot with a speed move, then just clamps down and shuts it down before it even gets started. It’s not about being flashy. It’s about being effective, and Bryce is exactly that.
