Another hot recruit on the trail in early June is Cedarburg’s Ryan Lempke Ryan Lempke 6'5" | 225 lbs | TE/EDGE Cedarburg | 2026 State WI . Things started off following his performance at the Gophers camp on June 2nd. He would go on to earn an offer from Winona State, Upper Iowa, and Western Illinois, in the days following that camp. About 10 days later Bemidji State and Jamestown would both join with offers extended from each. The two-way standout has been camping as a TE and clearly turning heads and putting up numbers that have coaches confident he can be an impact player at the FCS/D2 levels.

We jump back to the TE/Edge combo athletes for our next standout two way player. Recruiting is starting to pick up for the impressive 2026, with good reason. On offense you see Ryan get quick releases, show that he can play inline or out wide, and also open up a lot of separation with his smooth and efficient route running. Ryan has a solid base of speed for the position as well, and uses his size to protect the ball while securing the catch. On defense Ryan is just as impressive. Maybe even more. He has a skill set that made him a very tough blocking assignment. A quick first step and a closing burst to win with speed. The junior is also very effective with his hand fighting and pass rush moves including a spin move that flashes early in the tape. The versatility is there with this 2026 TE/DE. Don’t overlook this kid.

A two way athlete that I have had an eye on for a while now is Cedarburg’s Ryan Lempke Ryan Lempke 6'5" | 225 lbs | TE/EDGE Cedarburg | 2026 State WI . The 6’5″ 225 lbs edge rusher and TE has proven to be a key piece for his team. I love the way this kid plays off the edge. Every snap he has a plan of attack and a move that he is going to set up. He usually has a counter move in his back pocket too. Lempke is relentless off the edge and between his length, bend, and hand fighting moves he has become a force.
At TE you get more of a feel for his athleticism. Ryan is able to get off the line clean and is smooth through his routes. The junior TE does a great job of using his size to protect the ball at the catch and forces the defense to earn their tackles with his run after the catch. Let the film do the talking.
